Nigerian students who attend government/public schools are left behind as the battle to beat the pandemic continues. Learning is one of the most vital part of a child's life and it is being disrupted due to the lockdown caused by the pandemic. Currently, only private school kids are privileged to continue learning through the various online resources offered by private schools and/or private tutors coming to their homes. Unfortunately leaving public school students with a dangerous gap in their educational learning process. With this in mind and the heart of the founder, The Imose Cares Community Teaching Program was developed. The program seeks to go into the rural areas where public school students reside and teach them within their community while practicing social distancing, educating them about safe hygiene practices, distributing lesson materials, face masks and nutritious meals.
